Classic Car Insurance - Key Benefits
A classic car policy is designed for cars over 10 years old and covering no more than 7,500 miles each year. Generally the car will need to be garaged and not your main transport.
Your *classic car policy can be arranged for either road risks cover or laid up cover as required.
- Agreed Value – In the event of a total loss your insurers will pay the amount shown on your schedule less any excess, without deduction for wear, tear and depreciation.
- Reinstatement Cover – Where the vehicle is insured on an agreed value basis, this can be increased by either 25% or 50% in respect of repairs to your vehicle
- Foreign Travel – The policy provides full cover for holidays and journeys to EU countries.
- Personal belongings – Cover up to £150 for personal belongings if they are lost or damaged by an accident, fire or theft if located in or on the car.
- Windscreen Cover – We have special arrangements with leading windscreen companies to repair your windscreen in the event of breakage or damage.
- Audio Equipment – Cover is provided for permanently fitted vehicle audio or communications equipment.
